Henry C. Bazar, Of Atlanta, Called By Death Monday The death of Henry Carroll Bazar came at the age of 88 years and 9 months at his home in Atlanta Monday, Jan. 24th. Funeral services were held at the Sardis Baptist Church Tuesday, Jan. 25th, at 5 o clock with Rev. T. T. Edwards and Rev. H. H. Foster officiating. Interment was in the Sardis cemetery. Mr. Bazar was a member of the Sardis Baptist church, serving as active deacon for fifty-five years. He was also a member of a Woodman circle at one time. Pallbearers were R. B. Tullos, O. M. Lashley, Maurice Daigle, Derwin and Lindon King. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. O. M. Lashley of New Verda, Mrs. A. C. Lashley of New Verda, and Mrs. J. D. King of Monroe; three sons, Ellis Bazar of Montgomery, Watson and Seba Bazar of Atlanta; eight grandchildren, Mrs. Maurice Daigre of Lake Providence, Mrs. Russell Tullos of Winnfield, Grady Lashley of New Verda, Derwin King, Lyndon King, and Carol Sue King of Monroe, Huey Lashley, U. S. Army, Los Angeles, Calif., Elbert Bazar, U. S. Army, Camp Mackall, N. C.; and four great-grandchildren, Byron Lashley, Ronnie Lashley, Marlin Roe Lashley, and Lottie Agnes Daigre.
