Funeral For Miss Armetta Bazar Held At Mars Hill

Funeral services for Miss Armetta Bazar, who died at her home in Montgomery,
January 9, 1953, were held in the Mars Hill Church on January 10, 1953 at 2
p.m. with interment in the Mars Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Jerry Green officiated at
the service which was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church.  She was born September 18,
1874, in Winn Parish, being 78 years, 3 months, and 22 days old at the time of
her death.

She is survived by three brothers, Alfred, William, and Peyton Bazar of
Montgomery, and four sisters, Mrs. J. H. Moore, Natchitoches, Mrs. J. H.
Lewis, and Elmy Walker, Montgomery, and Mrs. E. C. Hale, Abita Springs, La.
