All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: July 16, 1942 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Services For George Bundrick Monday George Monroe Bundrick, 72 years of age, died at his home in Calvin Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a serious illness of about a week. He had been in ill health for many years. Funeral services were held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Sanders Church near Calvin. Rev. N. T. Smith, former Baptist minister of Calvin and now of Monroe, conducted the services and Edmonds' Funeral Home, Jonesboro, was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Sanders Chapel. Acting as pallbearers were D. M. Bundrick, Jim Harper, Walter Bullock, Curtis Bishop, Whewell Maxwell, and G. W. Brunson. Mr. Bundrick was born April 5, 1870 in Georgia. At the age of two he came to Winn Parish and has lived here ever since in Ward Eight. Surviving are his widow of Calvin; five sons, John T. and W. C. of Shreveport; Lester of Alexandria; James of Bunkie; and Lt. Herman Bundrick of the U. S. Army, stationed at Camp Claiborne; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Wilson of Calvin and Mrs. Joe Culpepper of Winnfield; two brothers, L. Bundrick, Calvin, and Charlie Bundrick; and one sister, Mrs. Bill Bonnette of Winnsboro. He also leaves 13 grandchildren.
