Funeral Rites For Mrs. Bearden At Old Union

Mrs. Jane Faye Bearden, 37, of Joyce, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, April 29,
1971, at Winnfield General Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Old Union Baptist Church
with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Bearden; three daughters, Misses
Virginia Bearden, Geraldine Bearden, and Deborah Ann Bearden, all of Joyce;
five brothers, Jerry Gorham, Woody Gorham, James Gorham, all of Joyce, Mike
Gorham of Alexandria, and V. J. Gorham of Columbia; and three sisters, Mrs.
Marie Sutton of Sikes, Mrs. Doyle Lowery of Dodson, and Mrs. Jewell Myers of
Olla.
