Preston Beal, Sr., 73, Succumbs; Rites Saturday

Preston Beal, Sr., 73, of Route 2, Goldonna, died Thursday, January 1, 1970 at
his residence.

Survivors are four sons, Bryan Beal of California, Preston Beal, Jr., of
Goldonna, J. A. Beal of Hodge, and Lonnie Beal of Natchitoches; one daughter,
Ms. Ladean Armond of Natchitoches; one brother, Feray Beal of Goldonna; and
13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Goldonna Baptist Church with
Rev. Danny Blake officiating, assisted by Rev. Kit Hawthorne.  Burial was in
Goldonna Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
