Mother of Mrs. R. M. Cherry Dies; Rites Thurs.

Mrs. Tina Beard, 80, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, May 27, 1970, in a
Winnfield hospital.

Mrs. Beard was a native of Concordia Parish and was a member of the Christian
Church.

She is survived by one son, Mike J. Beard of Eagle Lake, Texas; a daughter,
Mrs. Robert M. Cherry of Winnfield; five grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cox officiating.  Burial was in Harrisonburg
Cemetery.
