Funeral Rites For Mrs. Beecher Brewton Held

Mrs. Beecher R. Brewton, 81, of Goldonna, died Friday afternoon, August 9,
1968.

She was a member of the Goldonna Baptist Church and of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Goldonna Baptist Church
with the Rev. Kit Hawthorne officiating and the Rev. Thomas Cox assisting. 
Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

She is survived by three sons, Quinn Brewton, Elton Brewton, and G. E.
Brewton, all of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. S. C. Smith of Tallulah,
Mrs. W. H. Franklin of Goldonna, and Mrs. F. E. Deere of Lubbock, Texas; one
brother, Draper Reed of Shreveport; 16 grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were W. H. Franklin, Jr., F. E. Deere, Jr., Brian Brewton, Gregory
Brewton, Ronnie Brewton, and Thomas Brewton, all grandsons of the deceased.
