M. E. Beck, Former Winn Resident, Dies In Texas

Mrs. Eugent Beck, and Mr. and Mrs. Matt Milam, Jr., attended the funeral of
Mrs. Beck's brother in law, Marvin E. Beck, in Nederland, Texas, Tuesday.

Mr. Beck, a former resident of the Beech Creek community, Winn Parish, was 53
years old.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Askew, of Port
Neches, Texas, three grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. J. R. Hinton of
Beech Creek, Mrs. J. E. Harris, Sr., of Olla, and Mrs. Marion Taylor, of Jena.
