Ruth C. Begnaud

Graveside services for Ruth Christine Begnaud, 75, of Vidor, Texas, were held
at 4 p.m. Monday in Mount Zion Cemetery with the Rev. David Allen officiating.
Burial was under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis, Natchitoches.

Mrs. Begnaud died at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 1982 in Baptist
Hospital of South East Texas, Beaumont, Texas.

She was a native of Montgomery and the retired administrator of a nursing
home.  She received a commendation from the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anne Halliwell of Fremont, Calif., and
Paula Roden of Westfalls, N. Y.; three sisters, Effie Froreich and Lessie
Doxey, both of Natchitoches, and Pearl Beggren of New Orleans; three brothers,
Donnie Doxey of Shreveport, Lannie Doxey of Elizabeth, and Clarence Doxey of
Sioux Falls, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
