Mrs. G. W. Bell Of Dry Prong Dies; Buried At Tioga

Mrs. George W. Bell, 68, died Monday, August 21, at 8:30 p.m. at her home in
Dry Prong after a lengthy illness.  She was a long time resident of Calvin
before moving to Dry Prong about 12 years ago.

Funeral services were conducted at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 
Winnfield, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Davis and the Rev. Hailey
officiating.  Burial was in the Tioga Cemetery under direction of Southern.

Surviving are her husband of Dry Prong; one son, George W. Bell, Jr., and one
daughter, Mrs. W. W. Edgerton, both of Pineville; and seven grandchildren.
