Former Resident This City Dies In Pine Bluff

Mrs. Jennie Newton Bell, 39, formerly of Winnfield, died in Pine Bluff, Ark.,
Tuesday, December 31, after a long illness.  Funeral services were conducted
in Pine Bluff Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Bell, who lived here until she was 18 years of age, moved to Pine Bluff
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Newton, 21 years ago.

Besides her parents, she is survived by three children, Billie, Jeannette, and
Bennie Joe, and three brothers, E. J., Jr., and Grady Newton of Pine Bluff,
and B. G. Newton of Oak Ridge, Tenn.
