Mrs. H. Martin Dies; Rites At Yankee Springs

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha E__ Martin, 65, of Goldonna were held at 3:30
p.m. Friday in Yankee Springs Baptist Church near Goldonna with the Rev. E. S.
Davis officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Martin died in a Shreveport hospital Wednesday, September 25, 1968 after
a brief illness.

Survivors include her husband, Hicks Martin; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Quinton
Durbin and Mrs. Archie Carpenter, both of Goldonna; three brothers, Clarence
Morgan of Jonesboro, Curtis Morgan of Winnfield, and A. D. Morgan of Goldonna;
two sisters, Mrs. Mary Morgan of Jonesboro and Mrs. Alma Pierce.
