Mrs. Bennett

Irene Bennett, 78, of Natchitoches, died Friday, August 25, 1978 in a Houston
hospital after a long illness.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. James Powell officiating.  Burial was in Weaver Cemetery at
Flora.

Survivors include three sons, Oran A. Moreau of Winnfield and W. J. Moreau and
the Rev. O. Van Moreau, both of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. H. D.
Bronson of Houston; one sister, Sadie Brossette of Natchitoches; nine
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
