Father of Winn Men Dies Sunday In Jonesboro

William Bennett, 72, father of two Winn Parish men, died in a Jonesboro
hospital Sunday morning after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chatham Baptist Church with
burial in the Concord Cemetery.  Mr. Bennett was a native of Jackson Parish
and was reared near Choudrant in Lincoln Parish.

He is survived by his widow; two sons, Sebron Bennett and Heman Bennett, of
Joyce; one daughter, Mrs. Lena Mae Johnson of Natchez, Miss.
