Willard D. Benson of Mansfield Dies Following Operation

Willard D. Benson, 27 years old, prominent young businessman, of Mansfield,
died at a Shreveport sanitarium Wednesday following a minor operation, death
coming unexpectedly.

Mr. Benson was associated in business with W. C. Nabors, of Mansfield, and
will be remembered as having spent a few months here looking after interests
of his company and superintending the construction of the fixtures of the
Winnfield Oil and Gas Co., about three years ago.

Friends and acquaintances here regret the passing of this splendid young man
who was actively engaged in the promotion of affairs, religious, fraternal,
and civic.
