Last Rites For H. M. Bertram Held In Texas

Herman M. Bertram, 63, native of Dodson, who died from a heart attack at his
home at 701 Grove Street, Winnfield, Sunday, October 13, was buried at
Garrison, Texas at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services were conducted at the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel, with burial
following in the Coles Springs Cemetery.

An employee of Olin Mathieson Chemical Company, Mr. Bertram had made his
home in Winnfield for the past 16 months.  He was a member of the Garrison,
Texas Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bertram, of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. A.
D. Luther of Winnfield, and Mrs. Mamie Budnario, Bonita, La.; six stepsons,
three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Buckelew and Mrs. Otis Harris, Jonesboro, and Mrs.
Elizabeth Stewart, Monroe.
