Sister of Local Residents Succumbs In St. Louis, Mo.

Mike Shetley of Winnfield was called to St. Louis Sunday on account of the
death of his sister, Mrs. Ann Bess, who passed away Sunday morning.  Last
rites were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with burial at Granite City, Ill.

Mrs. Bess had visited in Winnfield a number of times and had met numerous
residents here who will regret to learn of her death.

Mrs. Bess is also the sister of Mrs. Lee Townsend of Winnfield and of Mrs.
Nita Hewitt of Oakdale, La.
