Bob Bevill, 61, Dies Oct. 12 In Hobbs, N. M.

Ben K. "Bob" Bevill, 61, native of Winnfield, died in Hobbs, New Mexico, on
October 12, following brain surgery.  Burial was in Hobbs Cemetery October 14.

Bevill was a graduate of Winnfield High School and of Louisiana State
University.

He was a petroleum consultant at the time of his death and had been senior
district engineer with Humble Oil Company when he retired after 35 years of
service.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Muriel Beville of Hobbs; two sisters, Mrs. C. M.
Lohman, Shreveport, La., and Miss May Bevill of Winnfield, La.; three
brothers, Joe Bevill and R. D. Bevill of Winnfield, and J. S. Bevill of
Kilgore, Texas.
