Bevill Held March 1 Donald O. Bevill, 48, of Winnfield, died at 8:50 p.m. February 26, 1975 in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Alexandria. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Hargis Baptist Church. Formerly employed by Penrod Oil, Co., Sun Oil Co., Jacobs Oil Co., Brewton Butane, he later entered business for himself , establishing the Snak Shak, which he operated until his health failed. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Johnson Bevill of Winnfield; one daughter, Pam of Winnfield; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bevill, Jr. of Winnfield; two brothers, Guy C. Bevill, Jr., of Winnfield, and Dwaine Bevill of Natal, Brazil. Funeral services were conducted at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Moore and Mr. Eugene Love officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were David Pennington of West Monroe, Claude Carroll, Bruce Walker, David Reeves, James Walker, and John Waters.
