William G. Bevill

William G. Bevill, age 56 years, died in Shreveport Sunday, March 1st, 1925,
at 6 p.m.

Mr. Bevill was born in Winnfield and spent most of his life here.  He was a
brother of the late C. M. Bevill, who for a number of years was Mayor of
Winnfield, and R. D. Bevill, of San Antonio, Texas.  July 25, 1921 he married
Miss Lora B. Vick, who with their four children, Misses Gertrude and Mary
Ellen and two boys, Gordy and Cody, survive him.

Funeral services were held at the Winnfield Methodist Church Tuesday at 2
p.m., Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating.  Interment took place in the Winnfield
Cemetery in the old Bevill lot.

Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. Roy Boyett of New
Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Sharp and family of Alexandria, Mrs. Maggie Smith
and daughter, Della, of Shreveport, and Mrs. R. R. Smelly of Liberty Hill.
