Bevill, Sr., 73, one of the oldest native born citizens of Winn Parish and one of the most widely known citizens died at his home here Wednesday morning after an illness of several months. Mr. Bevill was born in Winn Parish March 22, 1864, son of Riley Bevill. He grew to manhood in this parish and continued to make his way here. He has been a real estate man here and was a planter on Red River. For the past fifteen years he has been engaged in drilling and oil operations near Georgetown.
