Bice, Ruston, Formerly of Winn, Buried Wednesday Funeral services for A. D. Bice, 73, retired insurance man of Ruston, who died in the Ruston hospital Tuesday following a heart attack, were held at the Trinity Methodist Church, Ruston, Wednesday, with the Rev. R. R. Branton, pastor of the Trinity Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winn Parish, with the Rev. Mr. Lee of Hodge and the Rev. Mrs. Lula Wardlow of Montgomery, in charge. Mr. Bice, a native of the Wheeling Community, where he at one time was a farmer and merchant, had resided with his family for many years. During his residence in Winn Parish he served as a member of the police jury from Ward Five and held other places of importance in the civic and religious life of the parish. Last February 14, he and Mrs. Bice observed their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Bice is survived by his widow; three sons, Hershel, J. D., and Clarence, all of Ruston; four grandsons; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Little of Minden; and one brother, Jack Bice of Calvin.
