Final Rites For J. T. Bilyeu Set For Thursday

John Terry Bilyeu, Sr., 76, of Joyce, died Tuesday in Winnfield following a
short illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church with
the Rev. Willie James officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billy Smithart
and the Rev. Wilmer Jordan.

Burial will be in the Union Cemetery under the direction of the Southern
Funeral Home.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Victorine Franklin Bilyeu; four sons, Jimmie
Bilyeu of Golden Meadow, Clyde W. Bilyeu of Winnfield, John P. Bilyeu, Jr. of
Los Angeles, Calif., and Woody Bilyeu of Joyce; one daughter, Mrs. Matta
Lois Geiger of Baton Rouge; one brother, Robert W. Bilyeu of Ceres, Calif.,
and six grandchildren.
