L. Bishop Dies; Rites At New Jerusalem Mrs. Gladys M. Bishop, 66, of Route 1, Winnfield, died Monday, November 8, 1971 at 4:30 p.m. at Winnfield General Hospital. She was a native of Arkansas and a member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Rev. Homer Ivy officiating, assisted by Rev. C. D. Bates. Interment was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors are her husband, Jessie L. Bishop of Winnfield; one son, Lee Dale Bishop of Dayton, Ohio; one stepson, Johnny H. Bishop of Orange, Texas; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Aliene Imhoff of Beaumont, Texas; one brother, H. A. Cogley of Jeanerette, La.; one sister, Mrs. Edith Foster of Monroe, and six grandchildren.
