Mrs. Abagail Bishop, better known as Grannie Bishop, died March 31, 1931.  The
deceased was born in Smith County, Miss., May 26, 1859, moved to Texas when a
little child, and lived there until 1905 when her family moved to Louisiana. 
Here she met D. L. Bishop who she married January 21, 1906.

Mrs. Bishop was a devout Christian, being connected with the Baptist Church. 
She lived a true Christian life, always trusting her Lord until death took her
away.  She was a true and loving mother to her stepchildren, having no childre
of her own, and the loved her as a mother.

She leaves here husband, stepchildren, and a number of step grandchildren.
