Edlred Blakely officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery near Jonesboro. Mr. Bishop died unexpectedly Saturday, May 18, 1968 at his fishing camp in Natchitoches Parish. He was a member of the Jonesboro Methodist Church and was employed at the Continental Can Corp. paper mill in Hodge. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jessie Bishop, Jonesboro; one son, Glen Bishop, Groves, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Jones and Mrs. Blanch Odenbaugh, both of Jonesboro; one brother, Curtis Bishop, Winnfield; two sisters, Dr. Vera Stewart, Birhmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Gladys Bullock, Calvin; and seven grandchildren.
