Funeral Rites For G. I. Blake At Yankee Springs

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Yankee Springs Baptist
Church for George Isom Blake, 72, who died Monday, May 19, 1975 at his
residence at Rt. 1, Goldonna after a brief illness.

Officiating were the Rev. W. L. Fussell and the Rev. Glenn Griffin.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert Caskey of Rt. 1, Goldonna; three
brothers, Pat Blake of Lake Charles, Mason Blake of Springhill, and Tommy
Blake, Evadale, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Durbin of Rt. 1, Goldonna,
Mrs. Lou Peterson of Shreveport and Mrs. John Martin of Lake Charles; and
three grandchildren and a step-son, Homer Robinson, of Winnfield.
