All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: November 7 & 14, 1968 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Mrs. Idell Bland Will Be Buried Here Driday Mrs. Idell Bland, 59, Winnfield native, who died in St. Petersburg, Fla., her home residence after an illness, will be brought to Winnfield Thursday to the Southern Funeral Home, where last rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Thomas Cox, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Bland, daughter of Mrs. Sadie Thomas of Winnfield, spent most of her life in Winnfield and returned here several years ago, where she and her late husband spent one year before moving to Florida. She is survived by one son, Robert Earl, of Little Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Nicholson of Choudrant and Mrs. Amelia Prentiss of Dallas; three aunts, Mrs. Olive Colwell and Mrs. Thelma DeBerg of Dallas, and Mrs. Virginia Porter of Ferriday.
