D. E. Blake Dies in Jonesboro on Tuesday, Oct. 19th

Funeral services for D. E. Blake, who died in Jonesboro on Tuesday, October
19, were held the following day at the Calvin Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with
the Rev. John Heart assisted by the Rev. Carter Hall and the Rev. Danny Blake,
officiating.

A native of Winn Parish and former resident of Calvin, Mr. Blake had made his
home for the past eleven years with his daughter, Mrs. C. M. Carter in
Jonesboro.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. C. M. Carter and one son, I. C. Blake,
both of Jonesboro.
