Clinton Blake, age 27, who died here Sunday were held at the Baptist Church at Jonesboro Monday morning with the Rev. J. W. Buckner officiating, assisted by Dr. B. C. Land and the Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield, and Rev. J. D. Kitchenham of Columbia. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Mrs. Blake had been ill for several months but her condition did not become alarming until two weeks ago when she was taken to a hospital in Shreveport and later brought to the Mosley Clinic here. She is a former teacher in the Winnfield and Calvin schools and because of her lovable disposition had endeared herself to a wide circle of friends. She was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church where she has resided for several years and where her husband is engaged in business. Surviving are her husband, I . C. Blake, and one small son, Danny; parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Parker; two sisters, Edith and Helen Parker, a brother Sam Parker of Winnfield; and other brother, Bennie Parker, football coach of Pensacola, Fla.
