Sam Blewer, Forester, Dies; Rites Held Fri.

Sam Blewer, 61, of Saline, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1968 in a
Winnfield hospital.  He had been a well known forester in the Central
Louisiana area.

He is survived by three brothers, Lawrence Blewer of Jonesboro, William Blewer
and Melton Blewer, both of Saline; and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Beavers of Saline.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Carolina Baptist Church
near Saline with Rev. Wayne Toms and Rev. John Alley.  Burial was in the
church cemetery.
