Death Claims Mrs. Harper Blake of Yankee Springs

Mrs. Sarah Harper Blake, 28 years of age, of Yankee Springs community, died in
a Shreveport hospital April 14, 1937, as a result of an appendicitis attack.
Funeral services were held at Yankee Springs April 15th with the Rev. R. B.
Kitchingham officiating.  Burial was under the direction of Edmonds Funeral
Home.

Surviving are the husband, Isom Blake, and two children, Jerry Adell Blake and
Nordine Robinson; her father, J. W. Harper, of Saline, and the following
brothers and sisters, Allen Harper, Saline; Mrs. Jessie Brewton, Goldonna; 
Clyde Harper, Goldonna; Edd Harper, Montgomery; John Harper, Goldonna; Mrs.
Pearl Mae Barlow, Arcadia.  A grandmother, Mrs. Ludie Morris, and many other
relatives also survive.
