Bolton Buried At Mars Hill Mrs. Sarah A. Bolton died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. S. Rolen, in Winnsboro, La., at 11 o'clock on March 24, 1930. Deceased had been ill three years. She began to decline in health eight weeks ago. Mrs. Bolton was the widow of the late Edward S. Bolton, a Civil War veteran and a pioneer farmer of Winn Parish. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Bridges at Mars Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Bolton for many years was a member of the Nazarene Church. She is survived by one daughter and five sons. They are Mrs. H. S. Rolen, J. E. Bolton, J. P. Bolton, J. T. Bolton, C. H. Bolton, and G. R. Bolton. C. H. Bolton lives in Winnfield. She leaves two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Martha Quinalty, Wheeling, and Mrs. Hariette Miles, Jess Miller and Robinson Miller. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, as follows: Mildred, Holton, Roland an d Ray Bolton, Dorothy, Esther, Ruth, Neodore, Monroe, Billie and Marshall Rolen. Many friends of the deceased accompanied the remains to the cemetery to attend the funeral.
