T. A. Boles, Aged 70, Dies Monday At Family Residence

Funeral services for Talbert A. Boles, who succumbed at his home in the
Brister community, Monday afternoon, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the
Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. L. D. Emmons, in charge
of the services, and with interment in the Hurricane Grove Cemetery.

The deceased was 70 years of age and a loyal and devout Christian and member
of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josie Boles; four sons, Arthur, Charles,
Harvey, and Alex Boles, of Sikes; three daughters, Mrs. Ophelia McCarty, Mrs.
Iler Adams, Mrs. Mattie Womack, and four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Tarver of
Pollock, Mrs. Bell Harper, Mrs. Annie Pace, and Miss Jane Boles of Sikes, and
one brother, Tom Boles.
