Bolton Succumbs After Long Illness Mrs. Hazel Tereze Porter Bolton, 57, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ibzan Porter, pioneer residents of Winn Parish, died at 1:55 p.m. Monday, June 19, 1967 in a local hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Bolton was a life long resident of Winn Parish, a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, and a member of the W. M. U. in the Shady Grove Association. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Carpenter, Rev. Louis B. Williams, and Rev. Alson Jeter officiating. Burial was in the Old Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Bolton of Winnfield, three sons, Ronand R. Bolton of Rockville, Md., Barry K. Bolton of Bossier City, and Gerald Bolton of Winnfield; two brothers, Baxter Porter of Hiedelburg, Miss., Cecil Porter, Start, La., and one sister, Mrs. E. E. Watson of Tullos, and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers included Arnet E. Garriss, Robert J. Smith, Mervin A. Jordan, Jr., Glynn Mixon, Donnie Williams, and Thomas F. Waxley.
