Funeral Services Held For Joseph H. Bolton Wednesday Afternoon

Joseph H. Bolton, 30 years of age, died at his home here early Tuesday morning
following an attack of influenza.  He has been ill about one week.  Funeral
services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church, with
the pastor, Rev. B. C. Land in charge, assisted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes,
pastor local Presbyterian Church.  Interment was in the Winnfield cemetery.

Mr. Bolton was born in West Carroll Parish, and lived the greater part of his
life in Winn.  He served eight years in the army.

He is survived by his wife and a four month old daughter, Peggy Marie; two
sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Wilkins and Mrs. Lee Dunn of Winnfield; and three
brothers, Lee Bolton and Fred Bolton, of Winnfield, and Lawson Bolton of Olla.
