Mrs. Bonnette Dies; Rites Held In Natchitoches

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Shelton Bonnette, 46, of Natchitoches,
formerly of Winnfield, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church
in Natchitoches with the Revs. Troy Wheeler and Charles Haley officiating.

Burial was in Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Bonnette died Thursday morning, November 23, 1972, in a Shreveport
hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include her husband, Howard L. Bonnette, two sons, James Howard
Bonnette and Timothy Lee Bonnette, all of Natchitoches; two daughters, Mrs.
Charlotte Nix of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Susan Beach of Natchitoches; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shelton of Winnfield and one grandchild.
