Boone, 95, Former Winn Resident, Dies Mrs. Bama S. Boone, 95, of Shreveport, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 1972, unexpectedly at the home of her daughter at 3718 Eddy Street. A native of Stamps, Arkansas, Mrs. Boone had lived in Shreveport for 30 years, was a member of the Christian Science Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star in Winnfield, of which she was a former matron. Mrs. Boone with her family moved to Winnfield in 1910 and lived here until the 1940s. Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with Christian Science reader Frank Creswell officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Survivors include four daughters, Miss Inez Boone, Mrs. Zelma Houston, and Mrs. Elizabeth Dawman, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ernestine Delvalle of Pass Christian, Miss.; one son, Lionel Boone, of Winnfield; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were grandsons, Arville Boone, Kerry Boone, Norman J. Roscoe, James Dawman, Richard Dawman, David Dawman, Billy Verret, and C. D. Barnes.
