J.W. BOONE, SECTION FOREMAN OF WATTSVILLE DIES FEBRUARY FIRST

J.W. Boone, 64 years of age, died at his home in the Wattsville community
February 1, 1936, as a result of high blood pressure and kidney trouble.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 2nd at the cemetery in
Goldonna by the Rev. F.M. Shows of Calvin.

Mr. Boone was born in Ireland, January 31, 1872. He came to the Wattsville
community from Goldonna where he had served as section foreman, and settled on
a small farm. He was a hard working man and during his some 15 or 16 years in
the Wattsville community had made many friends who mourn his passing.

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Clara (Bedgood) Boone, and three children,
Viola, J.W. Jr., and Robert Daniel, all of Wattsville.
