Booth Dies Suddenly At His Farm Near Here T. T. Booth, 68, agricultural agent of the Tremont & Gulf Railway since 1937, died suddenly at his farm three miles east of Winnfield, Monday. Mr. Booth and his family had just returned Sunday from a visit to Texas and early Monday morning he left his home in Winnfield for his farm and died soon after arriving there. He was apparently in good health when leaving his home Monday morning. The deceased was born near Alto, Texas, and was brought here by the Tremont & Gulf Railway as a tomato and truck farm specialist. He has been responsible for much of the development of commercial tomato growing in Winn, Jackson, and Lincoln Parishes in recent years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows. Burial was made under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in the Providence Cemetery near Jacksonville, Texas, Wednesday, following funeral services here. Surviving are his widow, three sons, Cyril and Oran Booth, Winnfield, Archie Booth, merchant seaman, overseas; five daughters, Mrs. D. W. Ault, Arkansas Pass, Texas; Mrs. Frank Braly, Rusk, Texas; Mrs. R. E. Bumgardner and Mrs. Oswald Holmes, Arlington, Texas, and Mrs. F. B. Edwards, New Orleans. He also leaves two brothers and fours sisters.
