Bowen Dies As The Result of Burns Grandchild of Mrs. Zelma Frazier Is Burned Tuesday Tommy Ray Bowen, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymon Bowen of Kilgore, Texas, died Thursday, July 10, in a Kilgore hospital as a result of burns received on Tuesday, July 8, while on a picnic. It was stated that a match was struck, igniting his clothing. Funeral services will be held at the home of the child's great-grandmother, Mrs. G. P. Long, on Maple Street at 4 p.m. Friday. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Mike, and a sister, Mary, all of Kilgore. He also leaves his great-grandmother, Mrs. G. P. Long of Winnfield, a grandmother, Mrs. Zelma Frazer, Winnfield, and Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bowen, grandparents, also of Winnfield.
