James "J. W." Box, Jr.

James Wesley "J. W." Box, Jr., 58, of Goldonna, died Sunday morning, April 25,
1982 in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

He was a native of Winnfield, a retired roll pressman for Continental Can Co.,
Hodge, and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Thomas Box of Goldonna; one son, Mickey
Lynn Box of Homer; one daughter, Suzanne Atkins of Ruston; his mother, Lela
Mae Box of Goldonna; one brother, Kenneth Box of Goldonna; four sisters, Letha
Woolverton of Goldonna, Opal Chandler of Dodson, Margie Weeks of Monroe, and
Catherine Griffin of Winnfield, and three grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis with
the Rev. Dr. Troy Wheeler officiating.  Burial was in Fern Park Cemetery.
