Mrs. Tom Boyd Dies; Rites Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Oena Holmes Boyd, 73, of Winnfield, were held at
11 a.m. Monday at Southern Funeral Home chapel here with the Revs. G.
R. Nolan and J. L. Holt officiating.

Burial was in Winnfield City Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyd died Saturday, October 23, 1976 in a local hospital.  She was
a retired telephone operator and a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Boyd of Winnfield; three brothers, Fletcher
Holmes of Brunswick, Ga.; W. W. Holmes of Jonesboro and J. D. Holmes of
Winnfield; one sister, Ada Mae Clark of Alexandria and several nieces and
nephews.

Pallbearers included Cecil Taylor, Lloyd Vautrot, Richard Skains, Harper
Terrill, Mike Cockerham, Crosby Adams, Jr.
