Amo Boyett Dies In Houston, Tex.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dodson Assembly of God
Church for Amo James Boyett, 69, of Dodson, who died Tuesday, June 8, 1976 at
the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Officiating was the Rev. W. L. Fussell, assisted by Rev. Danny Stevenson. 
Burial was in Cypress Creek Cemetery near Dodson under the direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Boyett was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Dodson Assembly of
God Church.

Survivors include four sons, Alton Boyett, Donald Boyett, and Lynwood Boyett,
all of Dodson, and James Boyett of Keithville; one daughter, Mrs. Gail Gunter
of Dodson; three brothers, Herman Boyett and W. A. Boyett, both of Dodson, and
Horace Boyett of Creston; two sisters, Mrs. Zelma Williams and Mrs. Irene
Higgs, both of Dodson; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
