Mrs. Beatrice Boyd

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Beatrice Boyd of Winnfield, La., at 1:00
p.m., Sunday, April 15, at Burks Temple C. M. E. Church with the pastor, Rev.
W. L. Cheers, officiating.  Burial followed in the Winnfield Cemetery. 
Arrangements were under the direction of Ben Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boyd died April 10, 1984 at Humana Hospital in Winnfield.

Beatrice Small Boyd was born September 16, 1910, the daughter of Frank and
Rose Hayes Small.  She united with the church at an early age, remained
faithful throughout her lifetime and was a member at her death of Burks Temple
C. M. E. Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd.

She leaves to mourn her passing three God-children, Mrs. Else Crumble, Miss
Shirley Ann King, and Joseph Boyd, also relatives and a host of friends. 

Pallbearers were stewards of Burks Temple, Etoy Ashley, Billy Moore, Willie
Richards, and Willie Walker.  Honorary pallbearers were Joseph Boyd and Robert
Hayes.
