Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Ruth Boyd March 1

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Boyd, 75, who died at her home on Route 1,
Dodson, February 29, were held at the Springhill Church Monday, March 1, with
the Rev. P. C. Wright officiating.  Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Acting as pallbearers were H. C. Davidson, P. C. Wyatt, Hardy Henderson, J. G.
Carter, D. O. Hogan, and Henry Young.

Mrs. Boyd, a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, is survived by her
husband, A. C. Boyd; two sons, William and Charlie; six daughters, Mrs. H. C.
Davidson, Montgomery, La., Mrs. P. C. Wyatt, Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Cynthia
Walker, Dodson, Mrs. Brady Bagwell, Calvin, Mrs. J. G. Carter, Winnfield, Mrs.
D. O. Hogan, West Monroe; one brother, J. W. Henderson, Wyatt; one sister,
Mrs. H. L. Young, Dodson, and seven grandchildren.
