  Carl Eugene Boyett,28-year old Winnfield man,died late Thursday,March 3, in a Pineville hospital from
injuries he recieved in an automobile accident in LaSalle parish last week. 
   Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Southern Funeral Home chapel with Rev. William
Mixon in charge.Burial was at Garden of Memories cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home. 
   Boyett recieved head injuries which proved fatal when his car skidded on icy pavement near Olla during
last weeks ice storm.The vehicle went out of control and crashed into a tree. 
     The U.B. Carpenter store employee is survived by his wife,Mrs.Joan Roberts Boyett,and two
daughters Carla and Karen,ages four and two of Winnfield;his parents,Mr. and Mrs.Sam Boyett of Olla; a
sister Mrs. Carolyn Stroud of Grayson; and his grandmother ,Ella Web.
