        Joe Boyett,59 Succumbs after long illness 

    Funeral services for Joe Boyett 59, of Rt.1 Olla were heald Tuesday at 2;30 p.m. in Beech Creek
Baptist Church near Olla with Rev. E.D. Dearman officating. 
    Burial was in the church cemetery.Mr. Boyett died Sunday March 5, in Winnfield General Hospital
after a long illness. 
     Survivors include his widow,Mrs. Verlie Boyett,Olla;three sons Joe Elton Boyett,Lawton Boyett,Okla;
Ronald Boyett and Donald Boyett both of Olla; four daughters,Mrs. Jimmie Lee
Adams,Shreveport;Mrs.Pauline Smith,Vidalia; Mrs. Thessie Proueaux,Alexandria;and Mrs. Barbara
Proffer,Olla. 
     Five brothers, Monroe Boyett,Monroe,La;Russ Boyett and Sam Boyett,both of Olla;Louis
Boyett,Bastrop and George Boyett,Joyce.One sister Nora Avery of Urania;15 grandchildren and a host of
nephews and nieces.
