All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: August 12, 1937 Winn Parish Enterprise Pneumonia Claims Life of Miss Lessie Mae Boyett, 18 Years Miss Lessie Mae Boyett, 18 years of age, died at Greenwell Springs, La., August 5th from an attack of pneumonia. The remains were brought to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Boyett, in Winnfield on Friday, August 6th, where the funeral services were held at 3 p.m. that afternoon by Rev. Harrison Cockerham. Edmonds Funeral Home was in charge and interment was made in the Winnfield Cemetery. The deceased was a devoted worker in the Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, J. B. Boyett, and three sisters, Emma Jean, Gloria D., and Edna Mae, and a number of aunts and uncles. Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the last rites were Mrs. J. E. Leonard and daughter, Ether, Mrs. D. B. Jones and daughter, Wanda Ann, of Monroe; Mrs. Tracy Hycembottom and daughter, Jean of Shreveport, and Mrs. Leola Boyett of Taylor, Ark.
