He was a retire machinist. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, February 18, in Gessy Ferguson Chapel, Crowley, La., with the Rev. Clendonon of Beaumont officiating, with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Crowley. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Kindred Boyett, Joyce; one son, Thurman Boyett, Henderson, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Jean Lacey, Alamagordo, New Mexico and Mrs. O. R. Dorsey of Kilgore; three brothers, Huborn Boyett, Winnfield, Houston Boyett, Shreveport, and Virgil Boyett, Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Creel, Joyce, Mrs. Oma Blalock, Sulphur, and Mrs. Joy Richard, Shreveport.
